Liz Ellicott is a practitioner of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She studied at The Irish College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (affiliated to Guanzhou University, China). She is a full member of The Acupuncture Foundation professional Association and The European Council of TCM. She continually studies to upgrade and expand her knowledge.
She regards herself as privileged to be a facilitator for this ancient practice. Privileged in the people she meets and rewarded by the positive responses to her Acupuncture and TCM treatments.
Liz began her professional life in the media; firstly in journalism, and when she moved to London she carved out a successful career in television, which involved a good deal of travelling. She had the opportunity to meet and work with a diverse mix of people. Her first encounter with oriental healing arts came through T’ai Chi over 20 years ago. She studied T’ai Chi Chuan under Sufi Gary Wragg in London. She learned how an integrated mind body healing system works. This ancient practice acted as a gateway to a host of unimaginable treasures, prompting her, on her return to Ireland, to follow her chosen course of study, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Her other interests include music, which plays an important part in her life, She plays play the piano and the guitar. She continues to travel as much as possible, reads voraciously and is passionate about wildlife and the environment.. She finds that working with Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine has enriched her life in very many ways.
